Restaurant Recipes

a good friend of mine is a great chef (top of his class at culinary school) and he likes to write his own recipes for things but he’s always writing his new recipes on tiny memo pads or the back of used computer paper

he just got an internship at a five star restaurant and this could really be a jump start on his career, he someday hopes to own his own restaurant and be renound for his original recipes

so I thought a great gift for him might be a nice looking bound book, something blank so that he could write all his recipes in them, possibly something made for holding recipes but if not that’s ok.

any suggestions on where I could find a book like I’ve described to give to him as a gift for this special and exciting occasion?

I’m checking barnes&nobles.com but I’m not sure if I’ve found something quite right for him just yet, so I thought I’d get some other people’s opinions and ideas.
